Meet the woman behind Enlightened Beauty in Sacramento.
Behind every treatment is a person with a story, a passion, and a reason they chose this work. For her, that journey began with a fascination for skin, beauty, and wellness, and a desire to help people understand their skin while creating meaningful, lasting change.
Over the years, that passion has grown into a holistic approach that looks beyond skincare and treatments to include lifestyle, stress, nutrition, and overall wellness.
A Decade of Growth
A licensed esthetician since 2013, she has spent nearly 15 years in the beauty and wellness industry. In 2016, she opened Enlightened Beauty in Sacramento, and this year marks an incredible 10 years as a business owner.
Looking back, she says it’s surreal to see how much both she and her business have evolved over the past decade.

Her Passion: Corrective Skincare
If there’s one treatment she could choose every time, it would be chemical peels.
Her career has been deeply rooted in corrective skincare, and she loves customizing and layering treatments based on what each client’s skin needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
The transformations, from acne and pigmentation to texture and scarring are what continue to inspire her.
More Than a Treatment
For her, the treatment room should be a place where clients can exhale, be themselves, and feel genuinely cared for.
Her hope is that every client leaves feeling:
- Seen
- Cared for
- Educated
- Hopeful
Because skincare can be emotional, especially for someone who has struggled with their skin for years. She wants her clients to leave not only feeling cared for, but also confident and excited about their skin.
The Little Things Matter
One thing she says she can’t live without in her treatment room? A comfortable treatment bed with beautiful, soft sheets.
She believes the experience begins the moment a client gets into the bed. From the temperature of the room to the linens touching their skin, every detail should communicate comfort and care.
It’s one of the reasons Comphy feels so naturally at home in her treatment room.

Her philosophy is simple: clients spend so much time lying in the treatment bed, so they should feel comfortable, cozy, and taken care of from the moment they get in.
When She’s Not in the Treatment Room
Self-care for her is all about movement and wellness.
You’ll find her enjoying Orangetheory, yoga, massage, acupuncture, getting outside, or simply taking some quiet time to reconnect with herself.
And as a mom and business owner, sometimes the best kind of self-care is an hour where nobody needs anything from her.
Her busy-day ritual? Green tea. 🍵
A Natural Teacher
If she weren’t an esthetician, she knows she’d still be doing something that involved helping, teaching, or mentoring people.
Education has become such an important part of her career, and she especially enjoys helping other estheticians build confidence, not only in the treatment room, but in their businesses too.
Helping people has always felt like part of who she is.
Her Advice to the Next Generation
“Don’t try to become everyone else. Find what you’re genuinely good at, become exceptional at it, and let that become what people know you for.”
Her advice doesn’t stop there. Keep learning. Stay curious. And never underestimate the client experience.
Because while treatments matter, the way you make someone feel is what they remember, and what keeps them coming back.
